OneSearch Tips

THE NEW ONESEARCH IS HERE!

The Library has a brand-new platform that allows you to find the books, videos, ebooks, articles, and more. Whenever you use the search box on the Library home page, you’ll end up there. Be sure to check out our one-minute demo:

OneSearch - what is it?

OneSearch finds most of the library's collection from a single search box. Type keywords and find books, ebooks, articles, and media.

From off-campus, when you reach protected content, use your W# and eservices password to log in.

onsesearch - how to limit your results

Once your results are displayed, you can use the limiters in the left column to reduce the number of results:

  1. Check Scholarly Journals if your instructor requires that your source be scholarly or peer-reviewed.
  2. Refine the Pulication Date if needed.
  3. Under Resource Types, you can limit your search to sources such as journals, newspapers, books etc.
  4. Under Subject - you can find subheadings and search terms for the subject you want to find.
