Today's Activity

After the orientation via Zoom, we are going to find our topics!

  1. Go to Opposing Viewpoints in Context. Scroll down to "Browse Issues."
  2. Click on "Browse All 486 Issues" and then play/click around. 
  3. Pick at least two pages that might be interesting. Email them to yourself by clicking on the paper airplane on the upper right hand side of the screen (do not copy the link). 
  4. Choose a keyword (or words) associated with one of the topics, and search OneSearch for one or two resources. 
  5. Email them to yourself. 
  6. Reflect: do you like your topic? Is it too broad? Too narrow? Why? What do you need to do next?
