In-text citations are also called parenthetical citations. They are also direct quotes, which means that each word is copied exactly from the text with quotation marks. Include the author and the year the source was published, uploaded, etc.
Example:
According to Goodchild (2019), "APA style is super fun and amazing in its ability to put people to sleep."
APA is always "a fun treat for those who also enjoy watching grass grow" (Goodchild, 2019), which implies the super-engaging nature of APA format.
