Karen Tercho coordinates and teaches library workshops and orientations, provides help to students at the Research Help Desk, and serves on various college and district committees, including Los Rios Libraries User Experience team, Los Rios Librarians Information Literacy Community of Practice, and Writing Center Advisory Committee; she is current faculty tri-chair of Matriculation and Student Success. Since 2016 she has served on the California Conference on Library Instruction Steering Committee. Karen’s professional interests include student equity, student-centered information literacy instruction, and online learning. She holds a Master of Library & Information Studies from the University of Rhode Island and a BA in anthropology from McGill University in Montreal.
