Just/Unjust Laws
After reading MLK's "Letter from Birmingham Jail," I'd like you to offer your own definition of a just law; you can agree with King, agree with him in part, or disagree; if you disagree, you need to offer your own definition.
Then, please choose a law you think is just or unjust and tell me why you think the law is just or unjust. Be sure to use specific examples and support your essay with research.
“Complete” must include:
- 4 full pages, double spaced and Times New Roman 12-point font.
- 4 sources/articles.
- Clear thesis statement that puts forth a strong argument.
- An introduction that guides your reader to your thesis and a conclusion paragraph to wrap up your ideas.
- Synthesis of ideas. Each of your body paragraphs will contain ideas from two or more of the sources. Your body paragraphs will not simply summarize a source – the sources will be used to provide evidence to support your point.
- Correct MLA Citations and a correct Works Cited Page.
